12/10/2025: Changes to Coffeehouse Venue and Schedules
The Kingston Chapter Coffeehouse has now moved and become the Hudson Valley Folk Guild New Paltz Chapter Coffeehouse. Sharon Klein is the new Chapter President with Andy Shapiro as the Chapter Treasurer. New location: Redeemer Lutheran Church, 90 NY Route 32, New Paltz, NY 12561 The New Paltz Chapter will meet on the 4th Saturday of each month beginning on January 24th. Sign up 6:30pm; music starts at 7:00pm. The Open Mic Zoom will move from the 4th Saturday to the 1st Saturday beginning on January 3rd.

The Hudson Valley Folk Guild will presenting its annual “Beyond a Simple Folk Song” concert on Saturday, July 19, 2025, 7:30pm, at the Unitarian Universalist , 67 S. Randolph Avenue, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. This year we are excited to feature David Roth and Pat Wictor with Pat Lamanna.

This year, we will be offering a $1000 scholarship to a student musician pursuing a degree in music and who either resides in, or attends a college or university in, Dutchess, Orange, or Ulster Counties.
