Twilight Music in the Park: Andy Shapiro

| Andy Shapiro has performed in a variety of bands since 1968 including blues, soul, country, rock, and original music. For the last 5 years he has been focusing on writing songs and performing as a singer songwriter in the Hudson Valley and has released his first cd: “Find My Way Home” which received Honorable Mention in the 14th Annual emPower Posi Music Awards. He is now working on his second cd with songs of struggle and hope.

New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation announces a free music series, “ Twilight Music in the Parks,” featuring local folk music from Hudson Valley Folk Guild at the Walkway Over the Hudson. Performances are every Thursday night from 6pm – 7pm at the Walkway Ulster Visitor Center (Highland) now through September 1. Concerts are free and open to the public. Hope to see you there! |
