October 17, 2020 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Dan Weber, a former National Park Service Ranger, has been described as “The Classic Mid-Life Overnight Sensation.” In 2019, he won 1st Place in the Woody Guthrie songwriting contest for ‘Ever Since Columbine’, his deeply moving and timely song about gun violence. He is also a rare 3 time finalist in the legendary Kerrville ‘New Folk’ competition.
His songs have been described as “Reminiscent of early John Prine” and “Insightful and awfully funny”. Legendary Folk troubadour Ramblin’ Jack Elliott said “I love Dan’s songs and he tells really good stories.” Born in Rochester, NY, he now lives in Vancouver, WA.
