Susan Kane’s award-winning sweet and sharp Americana seeks to synthesize the natural and the ethereal, weaving words and melodies to create moving songs.
She’s recorded four albums which have all received extensive airplay. Reflecting on the last one, “Mostly Fine,”one reviewer called it “a set of potent originals that reveal a rich and eminently human inner world through the superimposition of the mundane and the magic. Susan recently released a cover of the Hunter/Garcia classic “Sugaree.” As the pandemic recedes, she has returned to performing live, but is thankful for the extended fan reach enabled by Zoom.
