Kingston Chapter: Amy Soucy
April 2, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Beacon folk chanteuse Amy Soucy writes evocative songs exploring the kaleidoscope of human experience (dreams, longing, forgiveness and healing) and sings them in a voice that’s been called “powerful,” “comforting,” and “angelic.”
Amy was selected for a coveted spot in the Emerging Artist Showcase at the 2016 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, and took home first prize in the 2016 CT Folk Songwriting Competition with her collaborator, producer and guitarist extraordinaire Stephen Murphy.

OPEN MIC
Music starts at 7:30, but if you arrive at 7:00 you can spend some time catching up with friends, helping each other sound check, and just generally enjoying the mellow Folk Guild vibe.
Andy Shapiro will be the Zoom maestro, so if you’re a musician and you’re planning to perform, let Andy know as soon as you come in from the Waiting Room. He’ll get you into the next available slot. Everybody gets two songs or eight (8) minutes, whichever comes first.
