DESCRIPTION:The New Paltz Chapter of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild welcomes you to our\n2026-2027 Coffeehouse Series\non Saturday\, October 24\, 2026.\n\nOur featured performer is\nBrad Cole.\n  \nBrad Cole \nThe songs of award winning singer songwriter Brad Cole address the ups and downs of the human condition with both wit and raw insight\, imploring us to find connection with one another. \nWith 6 studio albums under his belt and a solid 15-years of international touring\, Brad has played many notable stages including Lincoln Center\, Wrigley Field\, City Winery and Levon’s Barn in Woodstock.  Brad has shared the stage with marquee performers including Chris Stapleton\, Ingrid Michaelson\, Hothouse Flowers\, The James Hunter Six and Dave Davies of the Kinks\, to name a few. \nCole’s numerous side projects include: the groove-forward collective Bossa Blue and acclaimed folk trio Cole\, Nakoa & Treacher.  In 2021\, Brad launched his Sci-Fi musical Songs From The Moon as a 1 man show and as a podcast series. Brad mentors songwriters at Song Circle Hudson Valley in Woodstock and hosts Sonic Sanctuary\, an immersive song writing retreat on the southwest coast of Nicaragua. Brad currently resides in New York’s Hudson Valley. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOPEN MIC\n \nOpen mic performances will be available for all.\nSignup begins at 6:30pm and open mic begins at 7:00pm.\nThe featured performance is expected to begin at approximately 8:00. \nCost of admission for this event is $7 ($6 for Folk Guild members and seniors)\nQuestions?
