DESCRIPTION:The Rock Tavern Chapter of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild is pleased to be featuring Terri and Steve Massardo. \n \nTerri and Steve Massardo have spent time in various musical ensembles for almost 30 years\, including Yankee Rose\, The Tennessee Virgins\, What Four\, The Jesse Janes\, and The Broad Band\, and currently have the distinction of being the 4th and 5th members of a band called Trio Mio.  They made their local debut at the Hudson Valley Folk Guild in 1999\, and this will be their second performance at the Rock Tavern chapter. They have produced many concert events throughout the region since 2004\, and have done exhaustive research on live music throughout some of the Hudson Valley’s best bars and restaurants. \n~~~~~ \nOpen Mic: \nOpen mic performances will be available to all. Born and raised in Poughkeepsie\, New York\, Conor quickly learned growing up that music is the universal language because it expresses emotions better than any other form of communication he could find. It’s the connection with and audience\, and the ability to laugh\, cry and think together that appeals to Conor most. As personal as his music gets\, Conor finds a way to make his lyrics accessible to anyone who listens. Besides songwriting\, Conor uses his talents as an actor\, voice over artist\, podcaster\, and producer.
