DESCRIPTION:Andy Shapiro has performed in a variety of bands since 1968 including blues\, soul\, country\, rock\, and original music. For the last 5 years he has been focusing on writing songs and performing as a singer songwriter in the Hudson Valley and has released his first cd: “Find My Way Home” which received Honorable Mention in the 14th Annual emPower Posi Music Awards. He is now working on his second cd with songs of struggle and hope. \n\nAbout Twilight Music in the Parks\nCome enjoy free live music from the Hudson Valley Folk Guild at the Walkway Over the Hudson this summer!\n\nOnce again\, The Hudson Valley Folk Guild will be providing the New York State Office of Parks with outdoor music on Thursday evenings for “Twilight Music in the Parks”. Performances are mostly on Thursday evenings from 6pm – 7pm at the Walkway Ulster Visitor Center (Highland). \nConcerts are free and open to the public. Feel free to bring a lawn chair and stay awhile.\nConcerts are weather permitting.
