DESCRIPTION:For Jerry Korobow\, throughout over five decades and many professions — social worker\, school music teacher\, actor\, restaurant/bar manager\, attorney\, and synagogue cantor — music has been the constant. Folk\, Blues\, bluegrass\, Celtic\, country\, chanteys\, show tunes\, children’s music\, cantorial music and opera have all been part of an ongoing musical journey. Still a working attorney and cantor at Temple Beth Sholom of Flushing\, New York\, Jerry’s goal is always to engage others and encourage participation\, whether singing with children\, a congregation\, or a concert audience. In August of 2022\, Jerry played the Philadelphia Folk Festival after a hiatus of some fifty years.
