DESCRIPTION:The New Paltz Chapter of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild welcomes you to our\n2025-2026 Coffeehouse Series\non Saturday\, May 23\, 2026.\n\nOur featured performers are\nPat Lamanna and Kevin and Carol Becker\n  \nThis month’s open mic coffeehouse at the Redeemer church in New Paltz will have a special dimension to it.   In the feature slot\, Pat Lamanna and Kevin & Carol Becker will present a tribute to Judy Salerno who passed about a year ago and was a long time HVFG volunteer and stalwart.  They will present some of Judy’s favorite songs\, some traditional and others by folk luminaries such as Tom Paxton\, Pat Humphries\, and Richard Thompson. \nPat Lamanna is a long-time member of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild\, and was President of the Friends of Fiddlers Green Chapter when Judy Salerno was Treasurer and booking agent. She is an award-winning singer-songwriter. \nKevin & Carol Becker: Start with deep roots in traditional folk music\, add musical versatility\, mix in both historical and contemporary themes\, all seasoned with a healthy dose of good-natured humor\, then sit back and enjoy a performance by Kevin & Carol Becker! \n\nOPEN MIC\n \nOpen mic performances will be available for all.\nSignup begins at 6:30pm and open mic begins at 7:00pm.\nThe featured performance is expected to begin at approximately 8:00. \nCost of admission for this event is $7 ($6 for Folk Guild members and seniors)\nQuestions?
