Twilight Music in the Parks 2024: Maggie Rothwell

August 15 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Singer/songwriter/guitarist Maggie Rothwell grew up in Pleasantville, NY and earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree with a concentration in voice from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam. She has enjoyed careers as a public school music teacher and as a musician in therapeutic recreation departments of local nursing homes. Maggie currently provides online music programs for skilled care facilities in Harlem, the Bronx, and Westchester. She also enjoys running a nationwide online open mic and songwriting group for Senior Planet from AARP. With a repertoire of over 1,000 cover songs and numerous originals, Maggie has eclectic taste in music and enjoys performing a wide variety of styles. She’s happiest when she has a guitar in her hands and is singing songs that her audience can relate to and sing along with! Maggie lives in Red Hook, NY and is happily married with two grown children who are often the inspiration for her original songs.
