Twilight Music in the Parks 2023 – Andy Shapiro & Lydia Adams Davis

June 1, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Andy Shapiro has performed in a variety of bands since 1968 including blues, soul, country, rock, and original music. For the last 5 years he has been focusing on writing songs and performing as a singer songwriter in the Hudson Valley and has released his first cd: “Find My Way Home” which received Honorable Mention in the 14th Annual emPower Posi Music Awards. He is now working on his second cd with songs of struggle and hope.

Lydia Adams Davis is a relaxed and warm-voiced balladeer who brings an improvisational flair to her original and traditional songs. Lydia grew up in New England and the Hudson Valley, where she was active with Pete Seeger and the Hudson River Sloop Singers. She has several CD releases to her credit including “One Earth So Green and Round” which in 2012 was considered for a Grammy nomination! She was also received “Best In Hudson Valley” recognition in 2012.
