Twilight Music in the Park: Ethan Campbell

| Ethan Campbell cut his musical teeth on Rock’n’Roll, playing in bands on the NYC Punk scene in the mid-‘70s. Having mellowed (slightly) with age, he now performs solo acoustic, with a diverse repertoire of mostly ’60s and ’70s Classics: Jackson Brown, Eagles, The Band, Tom Petty, Allman Brothers, Elvis, Springsteen, et al., along with the occasional original composition, often in a mystical or contemplative vein.
Ethan’s musical mission is to channel the energy and unique vibe of the great original recordings of the ‘60s and ‘70s. Fans of the Golden Age of Rock will thoroughly enjoy Ethan’s renditions of favorites and forgotten gems, that range from sentimental ballads to up-tempo rockers.

New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation announces a free music series, “ Twilight Music in the Parks,” featuring local folk music from Hudson Valley Folk Guild at the Walkway Over the Hudson. Performances are every Thursday night from 6pm – 7pm at the Walkway Ulster Visitor Center (Highland) now through September 1. Concerts are free and open to the public. Hope to see you there! |
