Rock Tavern Chapter: Sarah D

This month we are proud to be featuring Sarah D.

Sarah D is a Hudson Valley singer-songwriter blending Existential Chamber Folk and Philosophical Folk/Rock. Trained under opera pioneer Camilla Williams, Sarah D holds a BA in Music and Dance, has performed at Carnegie Hall, and spent decades anchoring her local scene by founding Walden’s “Music in the Grove” series. Her introspective music weaves together insights from thinkers like Carl Jung, Viktor Frankl, and Robert Frost. When the pandemic closed physical stages, she pivoted herself to sharing her art online via her YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/@SarahDGreatDay. Now back on stage since 2025, Sarah D is actively bringing her guitar, piano, and unique philosophical perspective to venues across Orange and Dutchess counties.

OPEN MIC

Open mic performances will be available to all.
Cost of admission for this event is $7 ($6 for Folk Guild members and seniors).  Signup begins at 6:30pm and open mic begins at 7:00.  The featured performance is expected to begin at approximately 8:00.

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Rock Tavern is located in the Town of New Windsor at 9 Vance Road, Rock Tavern, NY, off Route 207, 3.4 miles west of Rte 300; or take I-84 to Exit 5A, Rte 747 south to Rte 207, make a right and take the second left.
