Rock Tavern Chapter: Rich Newman
The Rock Tavern Chapter of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild is pleased to be featuring Rich Newman.
Rich was among the bell-bottomed multitude that slogged their way to “Woodstock” back in the day, and some say he never came back. He’s still singing the songs of Creedence, The Band and The Grateful Dead and has added many folk, pop and country favorites to his repertoire, pleasing audiences in Orange and Ulster counties for more than 30 years.
Open mic performances will be available to all.
Cost of admission for this event is $7 ($6 for Folk Guild members and seniors). Signup begins at 6:30pm and open mic begins at 7:00. The featured performance is expected to begin at approximately 8:00.
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Rock Tavern is located in the Town of New Windsor at 9 Vance Road, Rock Tavern, NY, off Route 207, 3.4 miles west of Rte 300; or take I-84 to Exit 5A, Rte 747 south to Rte 207, make a right and take the second left.
