The Poughkeepsie Chapter of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild is pleased to be featuring Ethan Campbell at our monthly Open Mic on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 7:30pm.
Ethan Campbell cut his musical teeth on Rock’n’Roll, playing in bands on the NYC Punk scene in the mid-‘70s. Having mellowed (slightly) with age, he now performs solo acoustic, with a diverse repertoire of mostly ’60s and ’70s Classics: Jackson Brown, Eagles, The Band, Tom Petty, Allman Brothers, Elvis, Springsteen, et al., along with the occasional original composition, often in a mystical or contemplative vein.
Fans of the Golden Age of Rock will thoroughly enjoy Ethan’s renditions of favorites and forgotten gems, which cover a range from sentimental ballads to up-tempo rockers.
