Rich Newman is a songwriter and award-winning journalist from Ulster County, New York. He describes his musical style as “the Country side of Folk,” and his songs reveal a spiritual curiosity, a keen sensitivity to the joys and frustrations of human relationships, and a sly sense of humor. Rich’s influences include John Prine, Jerry Jeff Walker and John Gorka.

Music starts at 7:30, but if you arrive at 7:00 you can spend some time catching up with friends, helping each other sound check, and just generally enjoying the mellow Folk Guild vibe.
Ethan Campbell will be the Zoom maestro, so if you’re a musician and you’re planning to perform, let Ethan know as soon as you come in from the Waiting Room. He’ll get you into the next available slot. Everybody gets two songs or eight (8) minutes, whichever comes first.
