New Paltz Chapter: Don Sarlin
March 28 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The New Paltz Chapter of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild welcomes you to our
2025-2026 Coffeehouse Series
on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
Our featured performer is
Don Sarlin.
Don Sarlin, guitarist and singer-songwriter, began his musical career in his teens and has toured with Van Morrison, David Bromberg, Mary Travers, Dean Friedman, Esther Phillips and others. His time on stage with such folks inspired him to write songs of his own.
He’s described his works as “screenplay songs,” capturing characters, a plot, a place and a time, and performs them with memorable solo guitar instrumentals as well. He’s also been known to share stories of his remarkable and sometimes terrifying adventures as a kid in the big time on the road. In addition to songwriting and performance, he co-founded The TriSonics, an acoustic trio featuring guitar, dobro and bass, with three genre-jumping albums of original music to date. Hear Don’s music at donsarlin.com.
