Kingston Chapter: Teri Scheinzeit

March 5, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

NYC based singer-songwriter, Teri Scheinzeit, lights up a room (and a Zoom) with her soulful strength and positive energy. She makes audiences laugh out loud, nod understandably, and sometimes choke back a quiet tear. Her latest CD, Choosing Happy, has received many accolades. “Teri’s creative vision is fresh and fun,” “Her songs clever, authentic and delightful,” with a “lyrical, folky vibe.” She’s currently working on a one-woman show combining original music with her memoirs. Teri‘s music publishing company, Papa Jules Music, is named after her father, who owned a record store.

OPEN MIC
Music starts at 7:30, but if you arrive at 7:00 you can spend some time catching up with friends, helping each other sound check, and just generally enjoying the mellow Folk Guild vibe.

Andy Shapiro will be the Zoom maestro, so if you’re a musician and you’re planning to perform, let Andy know as soon as you come in from the Waiting Room.  He’ll get you into the next available slot.  Everybody gets two songs or eight (8) minutes, whichever comes first.

Donations may be made through the HVFG Paypal account.
