Kingston Chapter: Stuart Kabak
September 6 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The Kingston Chapter of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild welcomes you to our
2025-2026 Coffeehouse Series
on Saturday, Sept 6, 2025
at Stepping Stone, 320 Sawkill Rd., Kingston.
Our featured performer is Stuart Kabak.
It has been said that If Joni Mitchell and Harry Chapin had a musical love child it could easily be Stuart Kabak. This multi award winning singer/songwriter tells vivid and detailed stories in his songs like Chapin . The razor sharp lyrics are often wrapped in non standard tuning like something you might expect from Joni.
Stuart has something else in common with Harry Chapin. Both Harry and Stuart were born on “Days Of Infamy”. Harry was born on December 7th. Stuart was born a few years later on September 11th. His award winning tribute in song to the 9-11 recovery workers is a song you won’t forget any time soon and he always performs it around this time of the year.
