Our featured performer is Sharon Klein.

Sharon Klein, is an accomplished and prolific singer-songwriter and fingerstyle guitar player. She has been writing songs since the age of 17, having landed a music publishing deal with Burt Bachrach’s publishing company at age 19.  More recently,  Sharon got to share the stage and play with  John Sebastian, Steve Miller, Larry Campbell, Happy Traum, Jorma Kaukonen at the Woodstock Luthier Showcase. In recent years, Sharon  mentored with Richard Thompson, Dar Williams, Mary Gauthier in Nashville and most recently Joe Crookston, who called her “an amazing songwriter”.  She  teaches songwriting at Bard College’s Lifelong Learning Institute and is currently recording her forthcoming album entitled “Roots and Rants”.
