Rich Newman is a songwriter, poet and award-winning journalist from Ulster County, New York. He describes his musical style as “the Country side of Folk,” and his songs reveal a spiritual curiosity, a keen sensitivity to the joys and frustrations of human relationships, and a sly sense of humor. Rich’s influences include John Prine, Jerry Jeff Walker and John Gorka.
